Apsara Angst

Angelina Jolie fell in love with this city when the filming of "Tomb Raiders" brought her to this city 7 years ago.

The actress stayed here for a week when the filming took place at Ta Prohm, where gigantic tree roots eerily crawled and gripped themselves to the massive stones and walls of the temple. Angelina subsequently spotted Maddox at an orphanage at the floating village, and decided to adopt him.

Glamour factor aside, who could resist the old charm of the Khmer architectures and the haunting landscapes that hint of its rich heritage and its tragic past.

Huge faces carved onto the stones, looking out mysteriously from the tall towers of Bayon at Angkor Thom. Witness the majestic temples of Angkor, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992, as well as the massive Tonle Sap, amidst unspoilt natural scenery.

Once a French colony, Siem Reap welcomes you to embrace the beauty of the city, its history, and its people...

Hi Don,
这些古迹照片以黑白来呈现,增加了神秘感和历史感,不错!

Heh, you should seriously consider writing...how are starting with photo stories?

Yes thanks brother Edwin! I often prefer pictures of this nature to be presented without colour.

Hi Josh.. Thanks for recommending a beautiful place like this. Apologies for holding on to the guidebook all this while. I am sure you'll need it again pretty soon, yeah?
